The André Collet Chirality Days (JACC) have regularly brought together French and foreign researchers around the theme of chirality since 2008. Historical contributions to various fundamental discoveries related to chirality have been the work of French researchers : Biot, Fresnel, Pasteur, to name only the most famous. Today, these days seek to make the French scientific community more visible, whose scientific activities deal in all their diversity with fundamental and applied aspects of chirality. On the one hand, they aim to bring together researchers with complementary skills and to encourage scientific discussions and collaborations. On the other hand, these days will provide the opportunity to meet a community active at the regional level centered on chirality.
Topics include:
Structural chirality
Chirality in molecular and supramolecular chemistry
Chiral materials
Chiral discrimination and separation
Chirality in the chemistry and physics of surfaces
Chirality at the nanoscale
Fundamental and applied spectroscopies
Asymmetric catalysis
Homochirality and fundamental physics
Chirality and magnetism
Fabrication and properties of exotic chiral objects
